Morgan Villar: Success story from The Hatchery Summer Incubator

Morgan Villar

Meet Morgan Villar, a student at Candler School of Theology and a student founder in The Hatchery Summer Incubator. Morgan is the founder of Dignity Homes, a non-profit development firm that builds affordable, rent-to-own single-family homes and provides programming for the 50% of Atlanta residents who are housing insecure.

"Research shows that where a person grows up and their housing stability is one of the single biggest indicators of success."

Dignity Homes creates beautiful spaces where residents live, work, and learn alongside their neighbors. The organization will help people stay in place, create economic growth for the middle class, and provide valuable life skills that most are not taught in school.

During the 10-week Summer Incubator session, the Dignity Homes team crafted holistic programming for their future communities and connected with valuable partners, resulting in land grants from multiple entities throughout the Atlanta area.
