Alissa Cohan: Success story from The Hatchery Summer Incubator
Meet Alissa Cohan, an MRL student in the Candler School of Theology and a student founder in The Hatchery Summer Incubator. Alissa is the founder of tapfer, a platform that is on a mission to partner care seekers with licensed care providers at a 90% match rate using machine learning.
"My work with tapfer is aimed at de-stigmatization of mental health issues and an empowered solution that speaks to the immediate need."
Alissa believes that someone with a mental health issue shouldn't have to spend so much time searching for the right fit and that the right mental health provider shouldn't have to be on platforms that don't find them the right client fit. tapfer's algorithm aims to match care seekers and providers perfectly, right out of the gate.
Tapfer successfully raised an investment round this summer and started work on its first pilot.
