Working with students to understand their needs and goals, coach and develop their ideas, and connect them to financial, material, and programmatic supports.

Incubator (Fall/Spring)
Do you have an idea for a product or service that you are interested in pursuing? If so, you may be a great candidate for The Hatchery Incubator. This program is designed for ventures in the idea, building, and testing stages.
This school-year-long program (September to May) focuses on early stage ventures and offers:
- Monthly sessions taught by Hatchery Staff covering:
- business model development, rapid prototyping, marketing, selling, legal considerations, financial modeling, etc.
- Opportunity to apply for up to $1600/semester for development and experimentation
- Personalized mentoring and coaching from subject matter experts
- Access to Hatchery Innovation Consulting Fellows
- Connections to programs and resources across Emory, and to companies, organizations and alumni beyond

Apply to the Hatchery IncubatorAccelerator (Summer)
If you have a functional prototype, have earned revenue or raised money, or are working on scaling your venture, The Summer Accelerator is ideal for you.
This intensive, 10-week program focuses on middle to later stage ventures and offers:
- Weekly sessions taught by Hatchery Staff covering:
- business model development, rapid prototyping, marketing, selling, legal considerations, financial modeling, etc.
- Personalized mentoring and coaching from subject matter experts
- Practical peer-to-peer workshops
- Financial support up to 40 hours per week at $15/hour per venture, so student founders can focus on moving their ventures forward
- Connections to programs and resources across Emory, and to companies, organizations and alumni beyond
Applications for the 2025 Summer Accelerator are now closed. Applications for the 2026 Summer Accelerator will reopen in the Spring Semester of 2026.
