Facility Attendant

Qualifications

  • Must be a full-time Emory student.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality.
  • Advanced interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • **Ability to serve as a resource, team player, and positive representative
  • Positions in this classification may have various lifting requirements up to 20 pounds and require the ability to bend, stoop and twist

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Receptionist:
    • Staff the Service Desk and assist with visitors.
    • Answer questions about services, programs, and materials.
    • Advise on material usage, policies, and procedures.
    • Serve as a public relations contact.
    • Act as a liaison between visitors and full-time staff.
    • Answer phones and interact professionally.
  • Facility Attendant:
    • Learn about The Hatchery’s resources.
    • Follow reservation procedures.
    • Ensure equipment quality and space readiness.
    • Monitor and report equipment issues.
    • Assist with event logistics and daily operations.
    • Collect usage data and feedback.
    • Maintain cleanliness by spraying tables, tidying up, and keeping inventory.
    • Answer questions throughout the facility.
